Driggers is off this week,  My name is jerry and I will be filling in. :)

I purchased the domain Midnightracing.info on October 30, 2008 and designed MRG.   When I purchased the website I had no job,  yes you read that right no job.   I bought .info because the domain was only$0.99 and I already had webspace purchased eairler that year.  Two members donated money and I used the money to purchase MidnightRacing.us.

Before all this I painted on the website BigAlGrafx.com, later that website got sold and is now a completely different site.   I had mixed feelings about BAG,  I loved so much of that site and there was so much more I wanted from it.   I probably went the wrong way about it when I left the website, but that’s not to take away from the talent and staff we had when we started MRG.  If anyone should get the negative flac, it should be me and solely me.

When we first started MRG we knew it could be big but our main focus was not the size of the site but the quality.  The first keyplayer of the site was Nascarick,  The backing and support of the MRL got the groundwork of the website and the name of the site out.  Two members found our website threw the MRL, the first was WallRunner who has put many hours into this website and is now a co-owner of this website and then the acquisition of M0R0NI: he introduced us to his custom 3ds max schenes.   The sole reason the render section even got started and ran right was because of M0R0NI and the countless hours he put into this website.

As time progressed many people would step up and join the reigns of MRG.  People like Clubbjr, Dobbs, BloodTaker, Octane, Vampy, Cowboys, Hills, JPness, RebelTexan, Murare, Bobbylite, DirTrack, WarChantFan, Driggers, MR215616, Hollywood, WildBill, BigBlock and so many more people.   Without this core group of artist, MRG would of never made it.

So a year passes by and I finaly get a job,   I start to lose contact with this website so  I decided to give part ownnership to WallRunner.    In the little time WallRunner took the ownership role,   He has redone the whole website while keeping all original content of the website. MRG 3 is now running smooth and better then I could of ever imagined.

Recently I have been slowly been making my way back to MRG since the relaunch in decemember.  This Saturday is very anticipated for me.   It will be a cool and weird at the same time as I will be meeting the Co-Owner of the website for the very first time.   It’s crazy we have never met as he only lives 45 mintues from me.  What could this meeting bring?

I do wanna close the factor this week with a huge thank you.
Thankyou to all the site staff of MRG past and present, because of you we have this wonderful website.

If you have been following Herd Racing’s efforts lately, you’re probably aware of the major sponsorship initiative going on with SFI Marketing and their subsidiary companies EyeEarn.com and TripleClicks. It’s great news indeed, and though I don’t know all of the details personally about the extent of their sponsorship, it does include sponsorship for the entire team and will allow them to compete in not just the NASCAR Nationwide Series… Continue Reading: Reinventing The Wheels - Branching Out

I don’t know of anyone who gets involved in a sport like NASCAR because it pays good, or you travel a lot. I think everyone who works within it has got to be a little bit of a fan. Sure, we’re asked to put aside our loyalties when we work, but every Sunday during the season, I’m willing to bet nearly all of them put on their favorite driver’s hat… Continue Reading: Reinventing the Wheels - Running On E

She has many nicknames, the old track built on farmland in the middle of South Carolina. “The Track Too Tough to Tame,” “The Lady in Black,” or just simply “Darlington.” As a child I remember the name being spoken with reverence, excitement, or wonder, and as I grew older and watched the many races that took place there, I had a fairly basic understanding as to why Darlington was such… Continue Reading: Reinventing the Wheels - The Lady in Black
