MRG Holiday Contest winners announced!
Welcome to the results of the 2nd annual MRG Holiday Contest!
This Year’s contest not only had you make a car, but it also had everyone make a custom Christmas themed logo for the chance of being shown alongside their car in the banner!
We’ve received quite a few entries this year, and judging was done between myself (WallRunner), Rebel-Texan88 and Driggers (Of the Driggs Factor :p). This was our first Multi-game contest, with entries on all kinds of different templates, including those for NR2003!
Without further ado, I’m pleased to announce the winners for each category, starting with SS.net COT:
WildBill9 wins this portion of the contest with an amazing logo and an equally amazing car!
Bill’s car will be featured in the header until New Years Day.
Next up the contest for NASCAR 09 COT, a very tough decision which was split 3 ways at one point:
This year’s winner is PhinPhan, with his #09 “Happy Holidays” Chevy and “Santa Hat” MRG logo:
Finally, the last winner for the NASCAR 09 NW section of the contest:
Blackhand17 carried this one with his #09 “Merry Christmas” Impala:
A big thanks goes out to WildBill for the renders, and Rebel and Driggs for helping me decide the winners!

I don’t know of anyone who gets involved in a sport like NASCAR because it pays good, or you travel a lot. I think everyone who works within it has got to be a little bit of a fan. Sure, we’re asked to put aside our loyalties when we work, but every Sunday during the season, I’m willing to bet nearly all of them put on their favorite driver’s hat… Continue Reading: Reinventing the Wheels - Running On E
She has many nicknames, the old track built on farmland in the middle of South Carolina. “The Track Too Tough to Tame,” “The Lady in Black,” or just simply “Darlington.” As a child I remember the name being spoken with reverence, excitement, or wonder, and as I grew older and watched the many races that took place there, I had a fairly basic understanding as to why Darlington was such… Continue Reading: Reinventing the Wheels - The Lady in Black
